jQuery is the best replacement for PHP include
although One more step needs to be taken, it works with LiveScripts included in other documents retriving the page and making them run!
Works with most endings .htm, .php, nothing and more - jQuery include feature works like div id="includeHead" and then having the function style$(function(){ $("#includeHead").load("structure/1-head.htm"); });/style to point to the place it needs to include.


jquery include:

Works with .php or nothing at with the biggest kb footprint but jquery can be used for other things, sadly most code needed and gives no warning if file is not found.
